Building a brand from the stitch up.
Seamingly began with years of experience selling made-to-measure home textiles face-to-face at a local market. When the pandemic accelerated the shift towards online shopping, founder Jo saw an opportunity to take the business to a much wider audience.
We helped turn that ambition into a complete consumer brand, developing everything from the name and visual identity through to packaging, e-commerce and the digital experience needed to sell bespoke products online.
Challenge
Selling made-to-measure products face-to-face is naturally personal. Customers can discuss what they need, provide dimensions and understand exactly what they're buying before placing an order.
Moving that experience online created a different challenge. Seamingly needed to retain that sense of simplicity and personalisation while making bespoke products easy to understand, configure and purchase digitally.
At the same time, the new business needed an identity capable of standing on its own — one that reflected the craft behind the products while feeling contemporary enough to appeal to a new online audience.
Approach
Selling made-to-measure products face-to-face is naturally personal. Customers can discuss what they need, provide dimensions and understand exactly what they're buying before placing an order.
Moving that experience online created a different challenge. Seamingly needed to retain that sense of simplicity and personalisation while making bespoke products easy to understand, configure and purchase digitally.
At the same time, the new business needed an identity capable of standing on its own — one that reflected the craft behind the products while feeling contemporary enough to appeal to a new online audience.
Outcome
Seamingly launched with far more than a new website. It had a complete consumer brand and e-commerce experience capable of taking an established offline business into a new digital market.
The combination of distinctive naming, considered brand design and practical e-commerce functionality helped retain what made the original business special while removing the geographical limitations of selling face-to-face.
It created a platform through which a small independent business could reach new customers, sell personalised products online and build a recognisable brand of its own.
